Bocas Del Toro

Islands and Highlands can be added to any of our tour packages. the first leg of this add-on tour is in the beautiful region known as Boquete for a two day two night stay in this breath taking place. Bocas del Toro is a unique little Island town on the Caribbean Coast. This is one of the locations Jack Hanna filmes for his Into the Wild TV episodes.

Note: There are so many exciting tours available in both Boquete and Bocas del Toro we don't want to guess what your interests are. tours are not included on days 2, 3, and 5 of this itinerary. Check with your tour coordinator in Boquete for tour options and with the tour desk art the Hotel Playa Tortuga in Bocas del Toro.

ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Transfer from your hotel in Panama City to the airport on the old Albrook Air Force base for your flight to Boquete. Our guide will greet you at the airport followed by a tour of Historic David, Panama's second largest city. Next is a scenic drive to the town of Boquete and finally to the Hotel Panamonte. Breakfast is included in your Panama City Hotel. Over night in Boquete

Day 2 - Tour of your choice. Price not included in this package. There are so many options, it is hard for us to decide for you. You can coordinate directly with our associates (Travasias) in David. B, Overnight in Boquete

Day 3- Tour of your choice. Price not included in this package. B (Overnight in Hotel Boquete)

Day 4 - Scenic four hour drive from Boquete to Bocas del Toro. First stop is a tour of the Oreba Cacao plantation to see how the cacao is grown and processed guided by a member of the Gnobe Bugle tribe. Home grown chocolate and gifts are available for purchase here. Next is a transfer by boat to the town of Bocas del Toro. At this point, you will be a bit on your own to flag down a taxi and transfer to the Hotel Playa Tortuga. Taxi fare is $1 - $2 per person and it is about a 10 minute drive. There are so many tours available in Bocas, that we have not included them in the price. There is a tour desk in the Hotel Lobby where you can make arrangements for the tour of your choice the next day. The only way to describe the town of Bocas del Toro is, well...funky. The Hotel Playa Tortuga has shuttles to and from town. B (Panamonte) Overnight in Bocas del Toro.

Day 5 - Tour of your Choice. Not included in this tour package. Afternoon flight to Panama City and transfer to the hotel. B Overnight in Bocas del Toro.

Day 6 - Early transfer to Tocumen Airport for your flight home. B, Overnight in Panama City.
